Bilbaobizi will set up a bike rental point on Ribera de Deusto street

Next February, the motor-assisted bicycle rental service, Bilbaobizi, will be expanding its current network with nine new points, thus reaching a figure of 40 sites spread all over the city. Among the nine new points, one will be located on the island of Zorrotzaurre.

More specifically, it will be located outside number 59 Ribera de Deusto street, in the current vehicle parking area. The works on the facility (the required electrical installation and the placement of the totem and docking stations) will begin in January 2019 and conclude in mid-February.

Bilbaobizi, recently launched on 27 October, represents an improvement on the service formerly performed for seven years in the capital of Vizcaya by Bilbonbizi, which fostered over 2 million conventional push-bike journeys.

The time limit for use of the Bilbaobizi is 60 minutes. The annual cost for usage of this service is €20 for registered Bilbao residents and €25 for other interested parties. Users must Register before hand to utilise the service.
